Head to the beach with your new wares and relax between Beach 87th Street and Beach 97th Street. For ample beach turf, sit in front of the surf beaches around Beach 90th Street and you'll be a bit more secluded from the rest of the beach goers.

The 97th Street Concession offers up a nice selection of dining options for lunch and dinner. Lobster Rolls from the The Lobster Joint , smoked brisket sandwiches along with some southern favorites from Breezy's BBQshish kabobs from Uma's and sweet treats from CitySticks.  Low Tide Bar serves up beer and wine, they have Sangria on tap and make a spicy Michelada.

If you are more in the mood for a burger and some beers, hit up Rippers at Beach 86th Street concession.

From Rippers, you can head back over to Rockaway Beach Blvd to grab a bottle of twist-off wine from Ship to Shore - the shop also hosts wine tasting and classes. Or you can pick up a 64 oz. growler of fresh beer from Rockaway Beach Brewing Company on Beach 72nd street.

Head to the 59th Street Marina to check into your Truck-A-Float and enjoy serene views of the bay, incoming fishing boats and picture perfect sunsets.

If you are lucky enough to be visiting Rockaway on an  Edgemere Farm dinner evening, do not miss this opportunity to support a local farm and featured local chef. It is truly a magical and very romantic experience. On the weekends, the farm offers a fresh breakfast and a market featuring produce, honey, flowers and the like.

Enjoy freshly ground coffee from your floating pod or head up to  Rockaway Beach Bakery to score some of the most delicious croissants and baked goods.
